In 2025, one guiding word shaped our year at The Foundry: WALK.
Throughout the year, we considered what it means to follow Jesus with a walking faith. Faith is not simply a concept to believe or an idea to hold—it is a way of life meant to be actively lived out, one step at a time, through obedience, movement, and love.
And while walking is a powerful picture of a healthy spiritual life, actual walking can also be an important part of living a healthy, whole life. At The Foundry, we encouraged our community not only to take their next spiritual step, but to take plenty of physical steps along the way.
As disciples of Jesus, we want to be mindful of the whole person God has created us to be—spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, and relational. Sometimes something as simple as going for a walk can be good for all of them.
This page contains resources to encourage you along the way. So lace up your shoes, take your next step, and keep walking.
