Jesus never presents money as a budgeting issue first—it is a worship issue. In the Sermon on the Mount He contrasts two treasures, two visions, and two masters, showing that we cannot divide our allegiance between God and wealth. As we trust God's provision instead of our possessions, our hearts become free to seek His Kingdom first.
