Amber Renes

I am originally from Colorado Springs, CO but have moved several times because my husband Nate is military. We have lived in Colorado, Texas, Iowa, Nebraska, and now South Dakota. We love to be outside hiking, biking, camping, playing sports, or just enjoying the sunshine. Nate and I have 3 wild and crazy boys who love life and are very active. They keep us on our toes and display an endless amount of energy from morning to night!

When I was a baby, I was raised in a Southern Baptist church. I accepted Christ and was baptised when I was 7 years old. After some ups and downs in life, I recommitted my life to actually following Christ in college. Since then, I try hard to take one step at a time through the sanctification process with the Holy Spirit. Falling forward for God and other followers helped me grow and mature in Christ.

I graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelors in Health and Wellness and from Regis University with a Masters in Elementary Education. While in college I coached gymnastics for Aerial’s Gymnastics in Colorado Springs. After graduating and moving to Texas, I taught lower elementary in inner-city schools. This is where I truly fell in love with teaching the heart of a child. I am still learning and growing both personally and professionally and am in awe with excitement for every new turn God puts in my path.
